Worship with the Word
7:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: 2130 S 314th, Federal Way, WA 98003Category: Prayer
Energized by Worship | Focused on Scripture
The greatest time we can spend is in devoting our attention to the glory and worth of God.
"One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple."
In prayer, we not only request God's intervention, but come to worship Him, cultivating a personal, loving relationship that responds in obedience and intercession that is fueled by His own passionate longings.
Worship with the Word is a worshipful prayer of meditation over a specific passage of scripture.

What to Do in the Prayer Room
All are welcome to come and go freely and to stay in the prayer room as long as they like. While in the prayer room, feel free to join in with the corporate worship and prayer, read your Bible, study a favorite commentary, write in your journal, or engage in private prayer. You may sit, stand, or pace up and down the aisles. Whatever you do, we ask that you do it in a manner that honors and serves the other people in the room.
The Harp & Bowl Prayer Model
Here at IHOPNW, we use a model called Harp & Bowl to structure our prayer meetings. The origin of its name comes from Revelation 5:8 where we see the interaction of worship and prayer taking place in heaven around the throne of God.
“Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.”
Enjoyable & Sustainable Prayer
The Harp & Bowl model assists in creating an atmosphere of enjoyable and sustainable prayer. Worship opens the heart to exalt, encounter, and enjoy the reality of God’s glory. From this posture of worship and adoration, we partner with Him through intercession, praying for His purposes to be accomplished on the earth. We believe that prayer is best sustained when fueled by God’s heart and established upon the truth of the Bible. Therefore, we root our intercession in Biblical prayers prayed by the apostles; these prayers are inspired by the Holy Spirit, therefore we know these are prayers that God wants to answer.
